With skilled nursing visits from RHS, a Pediatric RN will come to your home to complete professional nursing tasks. This allows patients under the age of 18 to follow a safe care plan at home where they’re most comfortable.

The unique needs of the child will determine the number of visits ordered by the physician.

At Renaissance Healthcare Services, our skilled nursing services allow your child to remain at home while receiving the nursing care they need to return to optimal health. The highest level of nursing care, competence and compassion is provided to ensure your child’s needs are met.

Skilled nursing services in the home are typically provided if your child has been discharged from the hospital, but still requires care from a healthcare professional. We provide skilled nursing visits in the home for patients with a broad range of medical needs. Skilled nursing services include, but are not limited to:

 

• Teaching (these visits are ordered for a variety of reasons ranging from feedings, colostomy care, tracheostomy care, IV infusion therapy, etc.)

• Central Line care

• Weight checks

• IV therapy

• Wound Care

• Pre and Post-operative care

• Catheter care/change

• Diabetic care

• Lab draws/injections

• Medication administration
